Pop-up Meyhane in Brighton by Istanbul Elsewhere

We need a touch of blue for the eyes and a seagull’s call for the ears (but at a reasonable volume, of course).

Sure, when it comes to the color of the sea and the sound of the Bosphorus, nowhere can truly replace Istanbul. But what can we do? We always manage to find a piece of "us" wherever we go.

Long story short—we’re stepping outside London for the first time and heading to Brighton!

No lies, Brighton & Hove has been one of the most vocal cities in the UK about bringing us over.

So, we’re setting up our Meyhane and inviting both our regulars and soon-to-be regulars for a night of good conversation.

With our all time barbas, Memet Ali and Tan, we’re turning Mekan into a Meyhane for one special evening.

Reservations are for groups of 2 to 5 people only (as Archestratus says, the best table is never more than 5 people!)
